Errors, visual and sound installation and performance, in collaboration with Marilyne Kölbl, september 2018, Cabane B, Bern

This project explores the display errors of a computer program and the microvibrations created by the mixing of numerical sounds in space.

Marilyne Kölbl used the Preview application to zoom in on a veil image, in order to produce visual effects through program compression errors.

Laurent Perret-Gentil manually adjusted the constant frequency volumes assigned to four loudspeakers, to create sound microvibrations by the mixing of sounds. These are perceived differently depending on the location of the viewer in the room.

The errors are created by minimal interactions with digital tools. The relatively slow pace of interactions allows spectators to visualize the different phases of errors.
